Throughout its history, Chanmyay Myaing has remained an understated and modest institution. It functions without the need for impressive structures, global advertising, or a large number of transient visitors. However, across the landscape of Burmese Theravāda, it has been recognized as a silent fortress for Mahāsi practice, a center where the pa
